Helpful Tips
Ticks do not jump or fly.
Deer ticks (black-legged) can carry Lyme Disease but NOT all are infected.
Remove tick by the head with needle point tweezers, place tick in rubbing alcohol to kill it.
Avoid flushing ticks down the toilet as they do not drown.
If you find a tick and are unsure, keep it in a sealed container and have it examined by a veterinarian.
Remember to give yourself, children and pets a tick check everyday.
